If you answered YES! You don’t need to look like a Facebook chump any longer, I can make sure you look like a Facebook Champ. For a monthly investment which costs as little as running a half page local press advertisement, you can have your own social media manager for your shopping centre, retail store or small business….intrigued?
1. I’d Develop Your Annual Social Media Strategy
I’d meet with you to discuss your requirements and you’d receive a free Facebook page audit. We’d go through your Marketing Plan, either verbally or you could supply a hard copy. During this process we’d talk about the goals and objectives you have for social media. We’d discuss your target market and develop editorial strategies to use on a monthly basis to deliver your Facebook page management.
2. I’d Develop Your Status Updates Monthly in Advance
Each month, I’d develop a number of status updates for you, detailing exactly what text, images, questions etc will be posted and when. This information would form the basis of our monthly meeting.
3. I’d Meet With You Monthly
Each month we’d catch up either in person, via phone or by Skype, depending on your location. We’d discuss the status updates that have been developed and use this time to talk about anything else which is happening in your business.
4. I’d Communicate With You Weekly
After our meeting things will often change, especially if you are a shopping centre client. You might receive content from national or local retailers. You simply forward it on to me and I take care of it. I can forward you information weekly too if this suits you best.
5. I’d Post Your Status Updates
Each week I’d post a series of status updates strategically designed to achieve the best possible result for your Facebook page. I’d post it on a day and time when your customers are most likely on Facebook and when the update is most relevant to your audience. I’d design the status update to attract attention with a supplied or sourced image or I’d phrase it to encourage interaction, conversation or action.
6. I’d Make Your Fans Feel Loved
Throughout the month your Facebook page will receive comments, likes, messages and posts to your Facebook timeline, everything will be answered (with either a like or a comment) in a timely manner with the goal in mind of growing your Facebook page, securing a sale, or driving traffic. There is nothing more important than making your fans feel appreciated and ensuring that they keep coming back to interact. Depending on your level of investment and how involved you need me to be with your business, I’d alert you when potential negative comments arise and advise you on appropriate actions.
Community involvement is also important, along with organically growing your fan base, I’d implement strategies for this too.
7. I’d Delete SPAM
Unfortunately from time to time your Facebook page will be subjected to unsolicited posts and advertising SPAM either on the Facebook page timeline or in comments after status updates. I’d make it my priority to ensure that these things are deleted as quickly as possible, especially if they are profanities or false and misleading information. By deleting the posts quickly we’ll be preventing other users from seeing the Facebook account as a free for all.
8. I’d Maintain Your Account
Basic maintenance of your Facebook account is also a given, if your contact details change, services are extended all of this would be updated accordingly.
9. I’d Provide Advice and Ideas For Facebook Competitions
I’d help your grow your business and your Facebook page by providing advice on Facebook competitions and I’d ensure that you are playing by the ‘social media rules.’ I wouldn’t charge for my time in creating and researching these concepts but I’d provide a quote to implement them because I know that you don’t have the time to implement them yourself. You’d receive a quote which includes all of the following:
In many cases we’d discuss this at budget time and marketing plan time to ensure that everything is in place for the new financial year.
10. I’d Manage Your Facebook Advertising
We’d discuss how we can strategically grow your Facebook page, drive traffic and sales by targeting the right customers based on demographic, geographic and psychographic data. I’d manage the process for you and ensure that you were receiving value for money.
Let’s face it, there are a lot of Facebook administrators out there who don’t know how to look after a Facebook page. Many of them don’t have the time to keep up to date with all of the changes, don’t know what to say or when to say it and most of all, many simply underestimate how valuable their community really is. So if you, or someone you know needs a social media manager, it would be great to speak with you.
Now it’s over to you: If you were looking for a social media manager to take care of your Facebook page, what would you expect? How much do you think you should pay for their expertise? Should they work outside office hours? If you handle all of these tasks in house, what kind of service would you be looking for?
