When Facebook give you the opportunity to try out something new, go for it! Recently I have been given access to the new ‘Pages to Watch’ feature, it popped up on a few of my pages this week and I didn’t have that much time to check it out so I had a look but didn’t implement it straight away. Now the feature is only available on one of my pages so I have put it to use. My advice today it to make sure you take action early if you see new features, otherwise you will miss out.
Now let’s take a quick look at the new feature
‘Pages to Watch’:
It’s easy to get started just click on the ‘Add 5 Pages’ button which will appear in your Facebook Insights section of the Admin Panel.
You must add five pages before the feature will work.
You will then have instant access to the number of new fans these pages are gaining each time you visit your page. You will notice it shows up in the admin panel where your Insights used to be.
A word of warning! The Pages that you select to watch will receive a notification that your page is keeping an eye on them. If you are concerned you might want to keep an eye on these pages in a less obvious way but I don’t see that it is a huge deal, do you?
You will also notice that there is a new tab up the top right hand side to access your Facebook Insights.
